Awesome bike and customer service
5/5 mi bought an ex demo bike , my had maybe a little more wear than I deemed acceptable but the customer service Landon and Ryan in sales were very helpful. On to the bike , man this thing loves to climb , my measures actual seat tube able is actually 75 degrees , the vpp suspension loves to be pedaled hard and fast . The slackish head angle is perfect , I’m not a fan of overly slack bikes (makes the handling feel floppy) pointed down hill this bike surprised me with how well it descends . I’ve had lots of trail/enduro rigs through out the years but honestly a short travel 29er is the perfect bike for here in Austin tx. (Even spider mountain it’s not too bad either, a little overwhelmed on the double black diamonds but I’ll take this bike comfortably on a single black . Overall I cannot be happier with my purchase , I’m 6’1 and got the large, it’s a perfect fit , even though the reach numbers say otherwise , this thing fits me like my old XL NP scout Hardtail . For those that don’t know this is the same frame as the sniper trail . So check out reviews of that bike by mo and Hannah on YouTube .
Customer service and issues
Issues with bike 1. Stem bolts stripped 2. Fork scratches /gouging on stantion 3. Tubless on rear (sealant dried up 4.No intense tool kit /pedals 5.Tear in saddle seatstay has pretty good gouge 6. Bikes online tool kit not included 7. Valve cap rear shock missing 8. Deep scratch on seat stay I know I bought an ex “demo” bike ie a Costco return . That said I received the bike with more than a few issues . That’s ok, but my main issue is the customer support . I’ve talked to idk how many bots but actually talking to an individual that’s not in sales is almost impossible . The bike it self I’d give 5 stars just the way it rides , I’m 6’1 and bought the large , reach numbers are only half the story , it has a fairly slack seat tube angle . That angle makes the reach to the bars while seated pretty roomy and I’d say it’s a good size large . Look at the reviews by awesome Mtb extras on the intense sniper t (this is the same frame) . The slack seat angle puts your legs in a more powerful position for cranking and this bike wants to be pedaled. The 66.5 head angle is perfect for my trails . I’ve always been one to ride large travel bikes but going to this shorter travel 29er reminded me of how much I like a fast light bike and climbing is actually fun on this bike . Overall the bike I’d give a 5 star, the customer service a zero .
