Xtrada 24... Great value
Bought this bike as my daughter for too big for her 20in. Ticks so many boxes for a GREAT hardtail. Hydro brakes, good tyres, air fork, PROPER 10sp drivetrain with a clutch! Nice short cranks for kids and internal dropper compatible. The biggest sell for me was the tapered head tube, meaning that this fork can be upgraded to a GREAT 24 fork or a 26in fork too! When she's ready, I'll run a mix wheel mullet setup, giving her longevity and even more value out of the bike. Every component can be upgraded with higher end MTB parts if desired. I dropped a star because for the price, it would have been nice to see a slightly nicer fork on there, maybe one of the RST options with rebound adjust. Also the blades on the Clarks brake levers are quite long, I think a set of Shimano MT200's wouldn't have gone astray. But overall, really happy. I'll slowly find ways to reduce the weight of the bike, but good mid range components are never going to be real light. (Several oil slick parts carried over from her 20" in the photos)
