Assembly

Your bike needs minor assembly before riding; use the tools and videos included.

As a guide, it'll take 10-40min depending on whether you're an experienced bike assembler or have little to no mechanical experience.

Side Note: Your cables will stretch during the initial bed-in period and must be adjusted by an experienced mechanic around 150km of riding.

POLYGON XTRADA 7

Overall, the entire experience with bikes online has been outstanding. When I initially ordered the bike, I was charged about $10 more than the amount that was stated I was going to be charged. Apparently, this was due to some state fees that are required for my county in Texas. However, when I contacted bikesonline they explained to me what the extra charge was for, but since it was not the price that I was quoted, when I used my card, they did refund me the $10 back to my card. After that, I received the bike in just a few days and it was in good condition. The bike is packed very well, and with the video guidance provided by bikesonline, I had the bike together in no time. So far I have upgraded to a tubeless tire in the front and I am running a TANNUS liner in the back. I also replaced the stock pedals with Raceface Chester pedals. I did not buy any of those items from bikesonline as they were either unavailable or more expensive. My one criticism would be that it is more expensive or difficult to find aftermarket parts for the Polygon Xtrada 7. I am looking for a dropper post, and you would think that bikesonline would carry dropper posts for bikes that they are selling, but if they are, I have not been able to find them. This is just one example of how I think bikes online could do a little better job providing the tech specs and aftermarket parts guidance and sales for the bikes that they are selling. Having said this, I am very happy with my purchase overall, and I will consider buying another bike from bikesonline in the future.

Love it

I had some issues with the derailleur out of the box, but Bikes online had excellent customer service and sent me videos on how to fix my issue. Swapped out the grips and pedals and took it out on the trail. Absolutely love this thing for my first mountain bike. When I’m ready to upgrade I’ll likely go with the T8 FS!
