Description

SHIMANO Corporate Site

The Shimano SLX RD-M7100 1x12-speed rear derailleur for 10-51 cassette features an elegant yet aggressive angled design and an attractive anodised aluminium surface. The derailleurs feature bigger 13-tooth pulleys and include Shimano’s proven Shadow RD+ low profile technology.

After setting the benchmark in mountain bike components with SHIMANO XTR M9100 and the new DEORE XT M8100, Shimano rounds out its now entirely 12-speed performance mountain bike component lines with new SLX M7100. SLX M7100 cascades technology from the new XTR M9100 and DEORE XT M8100 - namely Shimano’s signature premium shifting and braking performance - while maintaining the SLX hallmark of value and durability.

Durable & Reliable

I'm running this derailleur on my 29" XL (i.e., max clearance possible) and yet some rock from some garden caught the chain guard on lower pully bending it out 90 degrees! gears still shifted perfectly after that violent collision. great job engineering the breakaway Shimano
