Great Bike. Im new to mountain biking. I looked into all the geomtries of bikes and this seems to work well for the type of rifing i do. A lot trails with some technical bits. I havent done much downhill but it feels like a great all arounder. Im 6’ tall and bougbt a soze Large. My in seam is about 34 and arms and legs are of pretty average proportion to my height. Bike fots great. Hope this helps.
The bike that was delivered had clear signs it was previously sold and had parts that were previously installed. Assuming the bike I received was a returned item, it would have been good to know. The stem cap and handlebar contact points on the stem had clear signs of wear. The rear derailleur was way out of adjustment from the “b” screw being incorrectly set, the low limit screw prevented the derailleur from shifting into the final gear, and cable tension was way off. Rear brake caliper/pads were dragging and had an uneven contact point on the disc. After getting all of that adjusted properly, the bottom bracket has 4-5 “index” points where I can feel the bearing stop and have to pedal through the detent. Not very happy with the purchase and poor state of the brand new bike.
