Rubber gear grommet Type A
For $18.51 including shipping - you’d think it would be 2 grommets for that price. It was the correct one and worked fine.
Good review of grommets
I initially purchased two orders of this item thinking that one order contained 4 grommets, as it turns out one order only contains 2. I reached out to the customer service department and they sent another 2 grommets and that's when I realized my mistake. I contacted customer support so I could send back the mistake and they provided me with an address to send the return to. Super responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for the help. I haven't been able to mail the two grommets back for return but when I'm able I will.
Grommets!
I ordered Polygon Types D and H to install an internally routed dropper post in my Xtrada 7. I used some Meguiar's Natural Shine Protectant to help the grommets slip into the frame as they would've been quite tight otherwise. The grommets seem secure, and they're holding onto their respective housings and hoses snugly.
Polygon Grommets Type D & H functioned as expected
I ordered Polygon Types D and H in order to install a PNW Rainier 27.2 dropper post in my Xtrada 7. I used some Meguiar's Natural Shine Protectant lube the grommets and help them slip into the frame. As a bonus, the protectant will help preserve the rubber against UV rays. Fitting the grommets might have been a big pain without the Meguiar's: they fit very tightly. The grommets are holding their respective housings and hoses snugly, and there seems to be no chance that the grommets will fall out of the frame.
